　　九?一八事变以来，日本侵乱者从未停止蚕食中华大地的举动，反而将贪婪的爪牙伸向了中国的腹地。1932年，“一?二八”淞沪会战爆发。十九路军的将士同仇敌忾，浴血奋战，其钢铁的意志和精神深深感染了上海的民众，其中就包括富家子弟周文（文章 饰）。这个正直爱国的青年，不惜以一己之力反抗日本人的欺压。在此之后，他与家族决裂，化名周卫国进入中央军校学习。他过硬的素质和出色的资质得到教官和高层的赏识，更获得了继续深造的机会。学成归来的周卫国以满腔的热情投入到抗日战争中，在接下来的漫长岁月里，等待他的将是无数常人难以想象的艰难考验……
