　　大明成化十四年，六品推官唐泛和锦衣卫总旗隋州联手，破获侯爷公子遇害悬案，两人一时名声大振，结下情谊。虽名声在外，为官清廉的唐泛仍租房度日，贤德房东张氏却横死密室，看似自杀却疑点重重。一番排查，死者的夫君李漫终被擒获。不久唐泛赴河南查案，获悉北宋帝陵附 近多人相继失踪，真凶又是越狱的李漫。一番殊死较量，李漫再次落网，但李漫及其爪牙似乎只是棋子。随即，京城与地方上大案不断，“侍郎夫妇横死案”、“诱拐太子案”，背后均隐现朝堂势力。唐泛与隋州最终揭露真相，一连串案件的幕后推手，正是密谋造反的东厂督主尚铭。其利用所掌握的朝野势力，制造混乱，铲除异己，培植羽翼，意图为造反打下基础。唐泛与隋州合力粉碎了尚铭的阴谋，受到嘉奖。二人继续勤勉为官，持心公正，脚踏实地惩奸除恶，为给百姓一个太平天下而不断努力。
