该剧改编自十四郎的同名小说。                                                                      　　身负"五不全"诅咒降生的战鬼陆千乔，需要通过换皮、换肉、换血、换骨、换心，才能成为"健全"的普通人。陆千乔在换肉时为给自己留存一线生机，和想借与死囚成婚化解"克夫"厄运的修仙者辛湄结为夫妻。二人命运绑定，携手闯关京城、崇灵谷、西域等地，最终破除战鬼族及开天会的阴谋，解除 战鬼族人身上的诅咒，辛湄也在此过程中突破道心戒律，守护人间。
